Your First Visit to Our Falcon Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Typically we allow one hour for a new patient appointment in our office.  When you arrive please sign in at our front desk.  You will be asked to fill out your admitting paperwork if you have not already completed it.  If you download it from the website, please bring your paperwork with you.  If you have had x-rays or MRI performed recently please arrange to bring them with you as well.

You will then sit down with either Dr. Rob or Dr. Fran for a consultation to discuss your health concerns and health history.  This allows the doctor to determine which exams and x-rays need to be performed.

Your chiropractic examination will include a computerized spinal exam, range of motion, appropriate orthopedic and neurological tests.  If x-rays are deemed necessary they will be taken at this time.  Typically, we ask a patient to put on a gown to have the computer exam and xrays performed.  If you can wear clothing without any metal, that may eliminate the need to change for xrays, although the gown will be necessary for the computer exam.

Your exam findings will be reviewed at this time and under most circumstances your first adjustment will follow.  If the doctor needs more time to review your information, your first adjustment may not occur until later that day or the next day.  At the end of your visit you will receive a packet that contains information pertinent to our office and your examination.  A follow-up visit will be scheduled for you at this time.

Dr. Fran Asks some important questions of interest to Falcon residents - Chiropractor Falcon Dr. Fran Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Falcon parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
